Day 1:

(Thursdays) Overnight international flight to Egypt

Day 2:

Transfer to the 5* Safir or Intercontinental Pyramids or similar for 2 Ntsl w/ Bkfst.

Day 3:

After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a full day tour to visit the Egyptian museum, Pyramids, Sphinx, camel ride and Papyrus Institute.

Day 4:

After breakfast at hotel enjoy a day at leisure with optional tours In the evening transfer to the train station to take the sleeper train with dinner & breakfast to Aswan.  (Or domestic flight to Aswan)

Day 5:

(Mondays) Optional Tour to Abu Simbel ($285).  Arrive in Aswan (or Luxor) and transfer for a 3 nights. Nile Cruise aboard the 5* deluxe MS JASMINE or MS TULIP or MS KING OF THEBES or    or  RAMSES KING OF THE NILE with full board. Visit the Aswan Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, sail by felucca around Elephantine Island, the Botanical Garden, and the Agha Khan.

Day 6:

Sail to Komombo, visit the Temple, then sail to Edfu. Overnight onboard in Edfu.

Day 7:

Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, sail to Esna, cross the lock, and sail to Luxor.

Day 8:

Disembarkation in Luxor (or Aswan). After breakfast visit the Colossus of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Luxor, and the Temple of Karnak. In the evening transfer to A/P for your flight to Cairo. Arrive in Cairo and transfer to the Safir or Intercontinental Pyramids hotel or similar for 2 nights.

Day 9:

After Bkfst, the day is free for optional day tour to Alexandria ($185) (Helnan Palestine Hotel).

Petra Full day tour.  PETRA - Located approximately 160 miles south of Amman, the city of Petra is surrounded by towering hills of rust-colored sandstone and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. Explore the massive architecture of temples, arched gateways and colonnaded streets; see why Petra is considered the most gorgeous site in Jordan. Set off on a two hour jeep tour of Wadi Rum, known for its sheer granite and sandstone cliffs.  Take the trip into the “rese red” city begins at the “Siq,” a winding canyon road.  At the end of the passage is Petra’s most impressive monument – the Treasury – carved out of solid rock from the side of the mountain.  Beyond the Treasury, discover soaring temples, elaborate royal tombs, a theatre, burial chambers, water channels and reservoirs.  Farewell dinner after the tour.

Optional visit to the Dead Sea

Visit Wadi Ru and two hour jeep tour; afternoon transfer to Dead Sea Hotel check-in & overnight .  DEAD SEA - The Dead Sea is 45 miles long and from 4 to 10 miles wide, and consists entirely of plant and animal life. Also known as the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea is today an important and rich source of minerals essential to the agricultural and industrial development.  Morning at leisure; evening transfer to Amman for your flight to Cairo.  Hotel check-in

Petra / Amman.  Return to Amman for overnight.  Afternoon at leisure.

Day 14:

After breakfast at the hotel, fly home.
